Villa Maritime, Hamngatan, Marstrand. Since 1982 this conference and vacation hotel has stood upon the quay, which according to Evert Taube lies between two seas; the glittering Kattegatt in the south and the foamy Skagerack in the North. During the summer the hotel is transformed into a holidaying paradise with well-equipped flats. Where one can stay comfortably and distinguished with an elegant sitting-room, a complete fitted kitchen and one or two bedrooms. We have 10 well-equipped conference rooms in different sizes and a large number of rooms for group-working purposes. Even if You only are just a few or up to 80 people we can offer suitable premises for to stimulate effective work.

It takes about 35 minutes to get to Marstrand from Göteborg by car, and just under an hour from Göteborg-Landvetter airport.

From Göteborg you take the E6 towards Oslo and turn off on route 168 near Kungälv.

You can park your car on Koön, since no cars are allowed on the island. As a guest of Villa Maritime you are entitled to use our free car park, which is situated about 800 metres from the ferry landing.
If you are travelling by bus there is a service from the Nils Ericson terminal in Göteborg that takes you all the way to the ferry landing on Koön. The journey takes around an hour.

The final stage to the island of Marstrand is by ferry, which departs every fifteen minutes and takes about two minutes. If you are travelling by car you can buy tickets at the kiosk or onboard. The bus ticket also covers the ferry crossing.
